Lotta
It wasn't difficult to start a conversation with Lotta. I didn't even plan it, it all happened very spontaneously. A couple of seconds after I had seen her standing at the door, I walked into the store. Having a conversation and making photos of her felt so natural :-)
Lotta was busy working on decorating her aunt's shoe store.
It wasn't something that she would usually do, but she had promised to help her aunt out.
I asked Lotta whether she was an artist and she confirmed my guess.

I complimented Lotta on her Swedish speaking. Although Swedish is taught in school here in Finland, not everybody speaks it.
Lotta told me that when her family lived in Holland, her children had a Swedish au pair and that was an opportunity to maintain her school knowledge of Swedish. And besides, Lotta's husband is Fenno-Swedish, another reason to practice Swedish !
For you who don't know Finland has two national languages, Finnish & Swedish.
