The lovely Iisa

Iisa was with a group of Freshmen in a rally celebrating the beginning of her academic life.

"I'm studying geography in the university and I got in at the first try which felt crazy!

Since I'm only 18 I'm one of the youngest students in my year class, but I have noticed that in University age doesn't really matter and I have met so many lovely people!

"I feel so lucky at this moment. My decision to apply here was made in the very last moment because I hesitated and thought getting in would be so unlikely. But now I'm here and it feels like destiny.

"Moving was a bit scary at first since I have lived in the middle of forests my whole life and now I have faced some problems with the public transportation and finding all the places I need to go to but thank god there is Google Maps and friendly people. And after all Helsinki is quite small and comfortable city with beautiful parks and nature.

"My biggest struggle right now is the lack of time! We have so many happenings and activities, but somehow, you should also be able to sleep, eat, meet your family and "old" friends and do all the school work.

It's kind of exhausting, but I try not to worry too much about it because extra stress is not helpful and everything always works out one way or another!

"That's something I try to learn and something I would tell to my younger self.

Life is pretty amazing and there are so many things to do, that's why I try to do something new everyday!"
