Cliffs Of Moher
Prior to heading to Ireland, I looked at hundreds of photos of the Cliffs Of Moher. Trying to get ideas, finding angles, etc. No photo, not even this one came close to the sheer scale of it all. It's one of those places that you need to see to understand and feel. We were there for a couple of hours but you can easily spend all day there. Eventually we walked south where the "official" attraction ended and the safety wall stopped. Climbing over a few stepping stones there was a mere few feet between us and a really long drop into the Atlantic Ocean. I had hoped for better weather, though I heard people showing up during times of dense fog and not seeing anything at all. In a sense we were lucky for that.
