About as normal as it gets down in the cellar. I was trying to take this very quickly while the camera was resting on a shelf but the tripod base plate tips the lens forward so the hood rests on the surface which is fine except when autofocus frantically tries to find a bit of contrast in low light the lens actually rotates so the whole camera is rocking side to side and doing some kind of insane crab dance to the edge of the shelf and impending destruction down to the stone floor 5 feet below.
