Lake Smetana!

Likely it's named for either the ethnic sour dairyfood smetana or the Czech composer Bedřich Smetana. From a distance that building back yonder on the right looks vaguely Czech, but too I caught a whiff of what smelled to me like sour dairy coming off the algal bloom so I dunno. It'd be a nice evening down here if it weren't for the bugs.

I've been told that the workers in the Office Parks surrounding the lake have a petname for it, "Old Smet-Smet."

I'd like to see Algal Bloom Swimming become an Extreme Sport. Why not?
