In Iowa, a blank wall of GRAYISH BROWN METAL SANDWICH PANELS is an expression of an idea for an "Iowan bankbranch architecture of 1977."

Did the architects of 1977 expect us to like this, or did they not much care what anybody would think of it. Interesting question!

 

I bet this wasn't a Wells Fargo in '77 but I don't know what bank it used to be.
