Hey look a building from 1948 got its façade remodeled in the 1970s.

And here we are in the 2020s, embarrassed at the rust stains running down the front of the phony mansard roof.

 

Holy shit the shutters appear to have actual functioning hinges.

 

There's the silver 2019 Hyundai Tucson I drive all around town. Everybody knows it's me when they see it.

In downtown Danville, Virginia, on May 31st, 2022, on the north side of Patton Street between South Market Street and South Union Street.

 

The building (410 Patton St) was built in 1948, according to the City of Danville's property search website; and remodeled in the 1970s according to the official documentation of the federally-designated Downtown Danville Historic District, within which the building is designated a "noncontributing property."
