The bridge and the buildings it connects are "contributing properties" to the Department Store Historic District (95000284 on the National Register of Historic Places), built 1918. At the right is the former G. Fox & Co. Building (designed by Cass Gilbert); at the left is the G. Fox & Co. Warehouse.
