Here was the small river the Bark River, as viewed from the Ice Age National Scenic Trail.
I ***love*** weird gloomy scenery of weird urbanized creeks with weird creekbanks in weird towns, and I was surprised and delighted and touched that a footpath that affords views of such scenery would be a federally-designated "National Scenic Trail." I hope it will be the start of a trend!

In Delafield, Wisconsin, on April 28th, 2021, the Bark River as viewed from a pedestrian bridge on Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Riverwalk (the Delafield segment of the Ice Age Trail), west of the intersection of Milwaukee Street and Dopkins Street. Liberty Park is at the left.
The Bark River flows to the Rock River, which flows to the Mississippi River.
