Shows a VERNAL POOL in a KETTLE among KAMES in an area of kame-and-kettle topography.

HONOR MY MEMORIES of the decay of the Saginaw Lobe of the Laurentide Ice Sheet, from back when the Wisconsin glaciation was starting to wind down.

I have been aggressively lobbying for this wonderful kettle to be designated a National Natural Landmark. I worry that my strident advocacy might be antagonizing potential allies!
