How long before every conifer is dead.

The deciduous painfully hold their limbs frozen @ sorrowful 45° angles, in what's maybe a display of mourning for a dead conifer (foreground).

 

I worry that a contemporary U.S. teen might come along and kick the helpless conifer out into the street so it can get run over by a car.

 

I have come to believe that conifers might be my spirit animal.
