Downstairs at a cobbler and a dog palace.

Ce salon de beauté est un palais de chien.

Upwards of 85% of the cobblers in Canada are located in the province of Québec. Dog palaces are distributed evenly throughout the country, however.

Cling to the railing with both hands as you descend the stairs.

All online directories continue (continnuie) to list the cordonnerie as "Cordonnerie N Arthur" in accordance with the scraped-off "N" decal. I cannot interpret the intended meaning of the replacement of the "N" decal with the weird shoe graphic. J-Arthur?
