Govtxmas.

Most photos of christmas trees are dishonest at representing the experience of actually looking at the depicted christmas tree in person, and this one is too. The orange and white traffic barrels were there, and a fog was upon the Michigan State Capitol dome, but the christmas tree looked significantly different from this in real life.

It was possibly the showiest extravagance ever displayed in Lansing Michigan!, but this is not what it looked like.

This spectacular monster is a spruce from Alpena County.
