I am leaving monday for Iraq again. I have struggled with the issue of whether or not I was going to take my D200 out there or not. After much thought, not only am I taking the D200 with me, but I am going to Iraq STROBIST STYLE! I went and got a Pelican 1500 case for the camera, flash units, and "poverty wizards".
To be specific, here is what is going:
D200
17-55MM f/2.8
SB-800
Sunpak 433D (x2)
Poverty wizards (transmitter w/mod, 3 triggers)
Manfrotto tripod
El cheapo 8ft light stands (x3)
Shoot-thru umbrella (not pictured.
Umbrella mount
I am anxious to get some strobist pictures out there, and I will post as soon as I get the chance!
