A pair of Whooper Swans in the process of running to get airborne on the frozen ice of Lake Kussharo on the Japanese Island of Hokkaido.I deliberately slowed my shutter speed down to 1/40th to try and get as much wing motion as I could and this was probably as good as it got on that particular morning (i`m blaming the -15 temperature for that lol) A little vignette to soften the edges aswell.The biggest problem was the aperture of F22 which showed every possible dust spot you could imagine!
