Galapagos Hawk
Gardner Bay, Espanola | Galapagos
As a follow-up to yesterday’s photos I thought I’d post a couple of close-up shots of this beautiful hawk. Like all raptors it survives by being successful at spotting, catching and killing its prey, which it could not do without its incredible eyesight, the ripping power of its hooked beak and the strength of its very sharp talons.
