Hedgehog on a Mission

I hardly ever meet hedgehogs...

And if I do, it's usually way to dark to take a photo.

In these rare cases that I stumble upon one during daytime, they always seem to bee slow and sleepy...

 

Not this one, which was enthusiastically running around looking for some tasty slugs and worms.

It was a short encounter with this young hedgehog, but oh what fun we had ;)
