Getting pushed round II Ding ding

Who set me a stonker of a challenge.

 

 

" In going through your stream I see that you are a fan of post processing work and are really good at it, and also that there is not a single selfie, (oh no!! I hear you cry), oh yes! I cry back :)

 

BUT...

any fool can take a selfie and make it look good in lightroom/potato shop whatever, so my selfie challenge to you has a twist in the tale...

 

your mission Sir, should you choose to accept it, is to take a selfie using the following criteria...

 

1) your self-portrayal must depict a historical character.

2) The historical character must have been a real person who is now deceased.

3) The character can be of either gender and from any country...from Marilyn Monroe to Henry 8th, Confuscious to Mata Hari. The choice is yours.

4) You may use props or other people in the scene to relate to that persons life (i.e Henry 8 had 6 wives so you could use 6 of yours too haha, Nelson had a ship, you know what I mean, something relevant).

5) The end photo MAY NOT be processed in any way, except you may crop it, or if the scene needs it you may convert to B&W."

My Trytych depicts My third Cousin Howard Winstone who was the WBC world featherweight champion in 1968 despite having lost half the fingers on one of his hands,

 

A film has recently been made about his Life which is called "Risen" www.imdb.com/title/tt0850709/

 

I shot using the EOS remote shooting software so my camera was set on a tripod and I could see what the sensor could see on the pc screen which makes taking a self portrait one hell of a lot easier,

Only processing was done in the Raw conversion in adobe ACR but it was very minimal,

 

Hope I get an easier challenge next round this was a toughy,
