Etna in motion

One of the largest - but still a small one - lava flows in the active flow field, October 2008 at Mt. Etna in the Valle del Bove. It was not comfortable as there were strong winds and from time to time some snow fall came along. Directly at the flows it was too hot but several meters afar it was quite cold at 2800 m above sea level. Nevertheless I was really happy there :-)!

Tremor at Etna is still a little elevated (based on INGV measurements and hompage).
