Sentinel Building

The Sentinel Building is one of the few examples of "flatiron" construction remaining in San Francisco. Damaged, while under construction, during the 1906 San Francisco earthquake it was completed in 1907. It is currently (since 1972) home to American Zoetrope Studios founded by Francis Ford Coppola. It is located at the corner of Kearny Street and Columbus Avenue in North Beach.
