Morries Cafe

I love a road trip, and one of the pure delights is discovering little towns or little gems within these towns.

Right at the foot of Mount Hotham and Mount Feathertop, 25 km from Bright, at the end of the valley stretch of the B500 Great Alpine Road, is the picturesque town of Harrietville.

I have very fond memories of Summers spent in the caravan park here as a child, and it was great to be here once more, taking a trip down memory lane.

We discovered a wonderful little roadside gem in Morries Cafe where we stopped for a delightful morning tea.

It was a glorious morning, the sun was shining, the sounds of the nearby Ovens River could be heard as we sipped on our tea and glorious Autumn colour surrounded us all around.

Oh how I love a road trip (especially in Autumn)!
