Making of "Türmalereien..."
In Bremerhaven im Fischereihafen gibt ein ein interessantes Gebäude (Bilder davon evtl. später), mit 16 Eingangstüren zu Filialen unterschiedlicher Fischhändler. Leider hat man die Türen irgendwann durch, ich drück's mal positiv aus, durch sehr funktionelle (und vermutlich günstige) Exemplare ersetzt. Aber jede Tür verziert eine Wandmalerei, die erhalten ist.
Ich habe alle 16 Malereien fotografiert, mit darktable die Geometrie korrigiert, ein paar Bausünden (Leuchten. die ins Bild ragten) wegretuschiert, die Belichtung angepasst, usw., als png exportiert, und mit den Imagemagick tools 'convert' (zur genauen Größenanpassung) und 'montage' (zum Erstellen des Mosaiks) das Ergebnis (flic.kr/p/2rqAaqh) erzeugt. Alles unter Linux, versteht sich.

In Bremerhaven's fishing harbour, there is an interesting building (pictures of it may follow later) with 16 entrance doors to branches of various fishmongers. Unfortunately, at some point, the doors were replaced with, let's say, very functional (and presumably inexpensive) ones. But each door is decorated with a mural that has been preserved.
I photographed all 16 paintings, corrected the geometry with darktable, retouched a few architectural flaws (lights protruding into the picture), adjusted the exposure, etc., exported them as png files, and used the Imagemagick tools “convert” (for precise resizing) and “montage” (to create the mosaic) to produce the result (flic.kr/p/2rqAaqh). All on Linux, of course.
