Heathrow security
Here is another sign relating to the intense security in London Heathrow. I can understand wanting to protect the staff from violence. But it just seems as though these signs are meant, not to protect their staff, but to instill a sense of fear in the people. DO NOT DO ANYTHING that might be interpreted as terrorism.
As a side note, the staff at the airport were extremely unfriendly. They would barely even talk to you. I cheerily said hello to the guy that screened me and asked him how he was doing. Without a smile, he responded only with a grunt. Hmm. London may be a "safe" city, but it certainly didn't seem very friendly.
