Personalized Cancer Medicine

Emma is working in the pediatric cancer program at Oregon Health & Science University in Portland. She runs the pediatric tumor bank, where she talks with the families to get their informed consent, collects samples in the operating room, and grows each patient's tumor cells in the laboratory to find out what drugs should be used.
