Orange Tulips For Spring

Last year the tulips by Mom's house were struggling and straggly. However this year the blooms were a very pretty surprise. Strong and healthy.

 

However, this year, the tulips in the backyard didn't bloom at all. The fronds were a nice pretty green with the promise of beautiful flowers to come, yet one day turned yellow and died. I don't know if the bulbs are okay but seemed that the bottom of the stems were still good. :-(
