"Transition"

This open door shot I found highly symbolic. To me the wall with the door defines the separation of two radically different spaces. The foreground space is rather monochromatic, naked and uninviting. The background space is bright, colorful, and interesting; certainly a "better" space to be in. The harmony and lighting of the warm wooden floor shows a path of "reflection" to be followed in order to transition into the "better" space.
