Brigadier General Doyle Retirement Ceremony
Soldiers of the 3d U.S. Infantry Regiment (The Old Guard), conduct a Department of the Army retirement ceremony in honor of Brigadier General Dennis D. Doyle on Summerall Field, Joint Base Myer-Henderson Hall, Va., June 30. A final well-deserved tribute is the traditional Army way of saying “Well Done” to its retiring members. Since 1861, with the passing of the first retirement law, it has been customary to salute, with appropriate ceremony, those who have served so well.
