HOPKINTON, Mass. – Tech. Sgt. Neil Antoniotti, 102nd Security Forces Squadron, 102nd Intelligence Wing, Massachusetts Air National Guard, scans the far side of the crowd as Tech. Sgt. Gary Bent, 102nd Security Forces Squadron, 102nd Intelligence Wing, Massachusetts Air National Guard, scans the near side of the crowd during the start of the mobility impaired runners at the start of the 2014 Boston Marathon, April 21, 2014. Approximately 600 Massachusetts National Guardsmen are deployed along the route to assist local authorities in ensuring that the 2014 Boston Marathon is as safe as realistically possible. Due to the record number of runners this year, Guardsmen from numerous states are augmenting the Massachusetts National Guard's own specialized units. (U.S. Army National Guard photo by Staff Sgt.
