30th Armored Brigade Combat Team

U.S. Soldiers from the Ohio National Guard's 1-145 Armor Regiment, 30th Armored Brigade Combat Team, headquartered in the North Carolina National Guard, prepare vehicles at Camp Buehring, Kuwait, for movement to support the joint training exercise Iron Union 12, Nov. 30, 2019. Iron Union 12 is a recurring bilateral exercise between the U.S. and the United Arab Emirates. It is a U.S. Army Central Command-led exercise with the UAE Land Forces to strengthen relationships and increase interoperability between the two military forces. The 145th Armor Regiment will be supporting the exercise to build operational readiness while improving mutual understanding and interoperability between the two participating nations. Multinational training exercises like Iron Union demonstrate a commitment by all participating nations to promote regional stability. (U.S. Army National Guard photo by Sgt. Devin Lewis)
