Hilly town Onomichi

Onomichi is a city located in Hiroshima prefecture, Japan facing the Inland Sea.

 

The city is known as the location for the classic Japanese film "Tokyo Monogatari" or "Tokyo Story", which was filmed in 1953 by one of Japan's eminent film directors, Yasujiro Ozu. Since then it has been used as a site for over 43 other films
