AT-RT v2022
To finish out the year and allow me to finish some other projects, I present my 2022 AT-RT design.
With this rendition, I have attempted to capture the details of the Battlefront II (2017) AT-RT design as accurately as possible using a wide variety of parts from LEGO's history. This has been a very long, ongoing project for me and I hope people find something in it to differentiate it from the other fantastic builds by those tagged, whose work has continually inspired me to improve my designs over the years.
I would also like to thank www.flickr.com/photos/190128811@N07 and www.flickr.com/photos/186300665@N06 for the constant feedback throughout the process.
I already have ideas for some improvements, although those will have to wait until next year's iteration....
BL Wanted List is available for free, although the cost of parts + shipping in the US is ~$70 USD. This is a very finicky model with very unconventional techniques and is only intended for display.
P.S. If you noticed the screwdriver looks a little weird, that's cause it is! I promise I do have DBG screwdrivers in my collection (so I'm not completely faking it) but I was not able to have them on hand when photographing this build.
