PATAGONIA, ARGENTINA: Miradores de Darwin, Puerto Deseado, Santa Cruz.

Piratas ingleses como Cavendish y Francis Drake descubrieron Puerto Deseado ("Port Desire" es el nombre originário) en el siglo XVI y XVII. Charles Darwin relata su ingreso en barco/bote en este lugar en 1831. Meses después escribiría su famosa tesis de la evolución de las espécies en las Islas Galápagos. O sea, el lugar hace pensar en história, geografia y biologia.

 

English pirates like Francis Drake and Cavendish discovered Puerto Deseado ("Port Desire" is the original name) in the sixteenth and seventeenth century. Charles Darwin describes his entry into ship / boat here in 1831. Months later wrote his famous thesis of the evolution of species in the Galapagos Islands.
