Heaven & Earth with Reibekuchen

German Reibekuchen & Apfelkompott with pan-fried slices of Morcilla, the Spanish black pudding from Burgos for a variation of the German classic Heaven & Earth (normally served both as purées alongside fried Blutwurst & crispy fried onions). The name explains where both ingredients originate: the ground & the sky: Erdäpfel, literally earthapples or pommes de terre in French & apples hanging on a tree above the ground, in the sky.
