This is Ánastaðastapi rock off the coast of the Vatnsnes Peninsula in northern Iceland. We arrived at around 06:00 am in the morning, after driving and shooting all night. In fact, it was such a long drive I had to stop 10 minutes before this and play with horses, just to keep myself awake. The conditions were pretty calm, so we headed down to the beach for a few shots before making camp for the night.
Thankfully we did this, as it was so stormy the next day. We went back down again to try some more shots, but the wind was nearly blowing me over, thus the camera stood no chance, especially we exposures of several minutes.
