0713 Emily plants in the backyard
July 13
Early this morning another AT&T guy came over to the house to fix the hard wire ethernet issues we couldn't solve the other day. As it turns out, the first guy, adorable as he was, managed to knick the cable multiple times as he ran it around the front of the house. As a result, New Guy had to rerun the cable. This time, he was successful! He also happened to be an AT&T replica of Brad Reed. It was weird.
Later on Emily potted some plants while her mom and I watched. She looked pretty adorable sitting in the grass with her plants, but I'm shocked she didn't end up with a shortload of bugs.
OH I should mention: We had to run to Home Depot, and on the way there we passed that burger place again. There were a TON of classic "domestic" cars parked there with dudes hanging around talking. I turned around and pulled into the lot to see if there were any other Teslas. Nope. And the crowd didn't seem exactly like a group I'd get along with very well. That said, a couple of dudes did ask me about the car and tell me about how it's a good lookin' ride. I think they just liked it cuz they were in electric wheelchairs. #fistbump
Finally, tonight we--well, mostly Emily's mom--made us some CoolWhip cookies. Basically you mix CoolWhip and cake mix, scoop it up, drag it through some powdered sugar, and bake. BOOM. Easy and delicious.
