1013 Holly blindly stares at Emily and Croz in the nursery

I had breakfast with Audrey, David, and Emily before the elders headed home. We’ve been watching a couple of Mom and Dad’s dogs while they’ve been out of town. This morning Holly sat and stared at Emily and Croz for awhile in the nursery, which was an interesting blend of cute and weird. We took the pooches back this afternoon, literally minutes after my people got home with Granny. We had a good hang! She was very excited to see Croz.
I left a bit early so I could go see Acid Carousel at Rubber Gloves. It was my first time there since the big renovation. It’s so much better, and so much different now! The entry door moved, the bar moved, there are nice little hangout pockets scattered around… it’s a nice spot. The group I was with ended up being a lot larger: Kara, Rose, Noelle, Jordan, and Amy. I’m pretty much brand new friends with most of them, but we had a good time and got along great. Unfortunately, the band was not at its best, according to those familiar. It was my first time seeing them, and it was not at all similar to what I’ve been listening to online. Apparently they were missing several band members, and they were trying to lean into the musical vibe the other bands had, which I guess was messy noise. Bummer.
