0811 Emily steams ring sling fabric while wearing Crosby

Crosby was extra needy all day, which led to Emily wearing him throughout much of the day. I made us scrambled eggs and toast for breakfast and Emily steamed her ring sling, hoping to soften up the fabric a little bit and make it easier to wear.

 

Marissa and Kara came over this evening to watch more of the Newsroom. Kara told us all about how she REALLY wants to get a kitten now. She had lots of time to tell us about it too, because I accidentally ordered Chipotle from the wrong location. Marissa had graciously offered to pick it up for us on her way over, but the location by our house was super confused and didn’t have food for us...because our order was on Fry street. SORRY MARISSA! Once she did get to the house, she was bursting at the seams to talk about Annihilation, which she’d just seen for the first time and LOVED. Now I kinda want to go back and watch it again.

 

Kara told us that her friend group refers to us as her “old friends,” so now I guess I hate those people.
