you can take the girl out of nashville, but...

This image comes out of the vault (from my 365) just for Pretty Pink Tuesday.

At the time, I was feeling homesick for some southern hospitality, so I made myself in to a paper doll, and plopped myself back on to Broadway in Nashville.

The store to the left is Gruhn Guitars, world famous for their expertise in vintage instruments. Guitars, mandolins and banjos in the first floor showroom typically run between $1000 and $5000.

You have to be Eric Clapton (or his equivalent) to receive an invite to see the merchandise on Gruhn's private fourth floor, which is filled with exquisite vintage guitars ranging in price from $14,000 to $50,000.

I've read that Mr. Clapton does, indeed, regularly shop here.

i've got a rock and roll heart
