Ferrocarrils de la Generalitat de Catalunya (FGC): durante el primer estado de alarma que llevó al confinamiento general de la población, para luchar contra la pandemia de COVID-19, el servicio ferroviario se redujo al mínimo en la red Llobregat-Anoia de FGC, circulando tan solo unos pocos trenes de viajeros. Los trenes de mercancías fueron suprimidos.
Los ferroviarios que trabajamos durante este triste período hicimos lo posible para mantener el ferrocarril vivo, preparado para cuando pudiera volverse a la normalidad.
Una medida fue arrancar periódicamente las locomotoras que no circulaban, para evitar la descarga de las baterías. Aquí vemos cuatro de ellas durante una de estas acciones: las locomotoras Alsthom 1009 y 1003, y detrás dos locomotoras de la serie 254.

Freight trains were suspended.
We railway workers who worked during this sad period did our best to keep the railway alive, ready for when it could return to normal.
One measure was to periodically start the locomotives that were not running, to avoid discharging the batteries. Here we see four of them during one of these actions: the Alsthom locomotives 1009 and 1003, and behind them two locomotives from the 254 series.
