Soler i Sauret S.A.: la puesta en servicio de los dos nuevos autobuses eléctricos del servicio urbano de Martorell está siendo un proceso largo, muy largo.
El Ajuntament de Martorell licitó la compra de los dos midibuses eléctricos el 13 de abril de 2021, hace ahora tres años. El siguiente 23 de julio el contrato fue adjudicado a Solaris Bus Ibérica S.L.U., única empresa que mostró interés por la licitación. El primer vehículo fue presentado por el Alcalde de Martorell el 22 de septiembre de 2022.
Los dos midibuses son del modelo Urbino 8.9 III LE electric, matriculados en mayo de 2022. Tienen los números 2053 (matrícula 1773 LXY) y 2054 (matrícula 8508 LXZ).
Son del tipo de carga de oportunidad, con un pantógrafo en cada vehículo. Para ello se ha instalado un punto de carga en la terminal de las dos líneas urbanas frente a la estación de Martorell Enllaç de FGC. Este punto de carga fue terminado el 12 de mayo de 2023.
Pero tres años después de iniciar el proceso, un año y medio después de presentar el primer autobús y casi un año después de terminar el punto de carga, aún no están en servicio.
En las últimas semanas es frecuente verlos en el punto de carga, a veces con el pantógrafo levantado, pero la mayor parte del tiempo simplemente aparcados, como podemos ver en esta foto del 2053.
El servicio es operado por contrato por la empresa Soler i Sauret. En noviembre de 2023 se firmó un nuevo contrato por otros cuatro años.

The Martorell City Council put out to tender the purchase of the two electric midibuses on April 13, 2021, three years ago. The following July 23, the contract was awarded to Solaris Bus Ibérica S.L.U., the only company that showed interest in the tender. The first vehicle was presented by the Mayor of Martorell on September 22, 2022.
The two midibuses are of the Urbino 8.9 III LE electric model, registered in May 2022. They have numbers 2053 (registration 1773 LXY) and 2054 (registration 8508 LXZ).
They are of the opportunity charge type, with a pantograph in each vehicle. For this purpose, a charging point has been installed at the terminal of the two urban lines in front of the FGC Martorell Enllaç station. This charging point was completed on May 12, 2023.
But three years after starting the process, a year and a half after presenting the first bus and almost a year after finishing the charging point, they are still not in service.
In recent weeks it is common to see them at the charging point, sometimes with the pantograph raised, but most of the time simply parked, as we can see in this photo from 2053.
The service is operated by contract by the company Soler i Sauret. In November 2023, a new contract was signed for another four years.
