Magdeburg Hbf 09.09.2022

Vulkan-Eifel-Bahn Betriebsgesellschaft mbH (VEB): diesel locomotive 218 139 passes Magdeburg central station, towing a short freight train made up of three closed-axle wagons.

 

The locomotive was built by Henschel & Sohn of Kassel in 1971 (works number 31541) for Deutsche Bahn. In June 2022 it was sold to Eisenbahn Logistik Vienenburg Rainer Mühlberg (ELV), being later resold to VEB. His EVN number is 92 80 1218 139-4 D-VEB.
