Basler Verkehrs-Betriebe (BVB): on January 16, 2023, the first units of the series of eight bi-articulated electric buses of the Hess lighTram® 25 OPP model (numbers 9101-9108) entered service, acquired to provide service on the very high demand line 50, which links the Basel SBB station with the EuroAirport Basel Mulhouse Freiburg. Two stations have been installed at the airport terminal to recharge the batteries.
Here we see the number 9103 (license plate BS-99803) leaving the Basel SBB terminal towards the airport.
