It is part of a series of 12 vehicles of the same type (series 1271-1282) acquired for the TOSA (Trolleybus Optimization Système Alimentation) project, for the electrification of the first bus line in Genève. They were put into service between 2017 and 2018, after tests carried out between 2013 and 2017 with prototype number 1397.
