Port Town-higashi 10.10.2019

Osaka Metro Co., Ltd.: the Nankō Port Town Line is an automated guideway transit line in Suminoe-ku, Osaka. It was commissioned in two phases, in 1981 and 1997, to serve as the main public transportation for newly built Osaka South Port habitations and facilities. It uses a lateral guidance system, double track throughout the route, and 600 V AC/60 Hz power supply. The service is provided with 21 automatic driving four-car trains, put into service in 2016 and 2017 which can reach a maximum speed of 55 km/h.
