Professional drivers?

As Ricky Tomlinson in TV's Royle Family would say ; "Professional, my arse!".

The junction at the top of our road (from where I took this pic) runs into the very busy main Preston to Liverpool road. There are another six coaches lined up behind the coach @ left ; all are parked on a blind bend. Neither bus drivers nor waiting/intending bus passengers can see one another @ the bus stop @ right.

Intending bus passengers of course could, if they were willing to put their lives at risk, wait in the road and stick their heads out from behind the Llew Jones coach every time they heard an approaching vehicle, to see if it was a bus. Also note that any bus stopping here would have to do so in the middle of the road, since there is no way it could pull into and out of the gap between the Llew Jones and Global Travel coach @ right..

Incidentally this is in an area mainly populated by elderly people.

All coaches involved are delivering golf enthusiasts to "Royal Birkdale" golf course, the day before 'The Open' begins. Birkdale is several miles away from here but the coach drivers find this area of Southport a very convenient place to park for the day.

Very convenient for themselves of course -- but very IN-convenient for all we locals, as well as other vehicles & drivers too. And very bloody dangerous as well.
