Sadou - The Way of Tea

I had some inspiration to make a Japanese folding screen with cherry blossoms on it, and to make the scene I added a tea ceremony and small potted bonsai tree.

 

In the 13th century, when the Kamakura shogunate ruled Japan, tea and the luxuries associated with it became a kind of status symbol among the warrior class.
