Ellen Smith, Rochdale graveyard
The three that got away - this trio sat in the corner of the yard for many years rotting away, but surprisingly intact. All Harry Smith would do was stare at them, shake his head, and say "Somebody should do something about them - they need saving". But they never were, and I remember passing the yard on the bus one day, to find them gone, and a great empty space instead. At least there are a couple of well-preserved examples from the fleet, though.
These three are (L - R) :
UDK551, Tiger Cub/Harrington (1959)
RDK4, Tiger Cub/Duple (1957)
4728DK, Leopard/Harrington (1963)
