CONTINGENCY OPERATING BASE SPEICHER, Iraq – Tech. Sgt. Jamie Gilley, guitar player for the Air Force Central Command rock band, “Starlifter,” and vocalist Airman 1st Class Carmen Emborski take center stage during their performance at the North Dining Facility at Contingency Operating Base Speicher, Iraq, Jan. 6, 2011. Starlifter performed an encore show the next day for U.S. Division-North Soldiers deployed in support of Operation New Dawn. The AFCENT band is currently touring Iraq and Afghanistan performing for service members as part of their mission to entertain America’s men and women in uniform.
