The Challenge
modern primitive
Tomorrow, 30 September as some of you know I'll be 54 but thats just few hours to go, so happy day to me full of hopes and wishes and needed resolutions. Shall I be able to realize them I do not know, I feel like I'm on the crossroad from the day one of my life. Where is that promised "older" age wisdom, claimed by others I guess, all I can see in me is a little boy hidden inside dreaming of flying through the endless horizons mesmerized by beauty of the life.
So thats what I'm going to do, spread my wings and continue my flight, no another option for me in my life!
In Freud's view the Ego stands in between the Id and the Superego to balance our primitive needs and our moral beliefs and taboos. He stated that the Ego consists of our conscious sense of self and world, a highly structured set of unconscious defenses that are central in defining both individual differences in character or personality, the symptoms and inhibitions that define the neuroses, and ultimately serving as the executive branch of the mind which leads to action.
