Regional JET Grant Presentation Hosted by TSTC-Harlingen

The Texas Workforce Commission (TWC) presented nine JET grants, totaling $2,601,728 to nine grant recipients including La Joya ISD, Lyford CISD, Monte Alto ISD, Rio Grande City GISD, Santa Maria ISD, Sharyland ISD, Texas State Technical College in Harlingen, Valley View ISD, and Vanguard Academy. In the first year of the grants, the funding will help train 1,209 students in high demand occupations in Automotive Service Technician, Healthcare, Food Service Managers, and Welding.
